Scope

Moisture proofing, corrosion proofing and condensation control. EARTHANE foam is sprayed in place on purlins and selected portions of the structural steel to isolate from both the high humidity and acidic environment. EARTHANE fast set, Zero perm, elastomer is sprayed in place on the remainder of the structural steel for moisture and corrosion protection.

This combined application stops dripping and protects the steel from rust and corrosive degradation due to the extreme high humidity and acid content of the internal environment. This application was done during new construction to act as a preventative measure. Similar applications can be done on existing facilities as a repair procedure.
